3 Guestbook Entries for Catherine “Cathy” Barto Meyer

  1. I’m so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how you must feel. I have found comfort in scriptures like Job 14:14,15 which remind me that God cares so deeply for us that he yearns for the day when he will bring us back to life on earth (John 5:28, 29). I hope that these words bring you comfort as well.
You may contact me personally if you wish to know more about the hope that God gives us in his word that there will be a resurrection.

  2. Dear Eric,
We were very sad to read of Cathy’s recent death in today’s Providence Sunday Journal. We remember meeting Cathy at the Bristol Yacht Club, she was just lovely and so pleasant to talk to. Our sincerest condolences to her parents, to your family and, most especially, to you.
    As ever.
    Kathryn & David Swanson

  3. I recall many holidays when my sister, Bobette Leidner Fisk, came home Cornell regaling us with tales of intrigue and fun had by Cathy, Bobette, and so many of the DG sisters. We recognized that was the foundation of an enduring, life-long kinship between Cathy and Bobette. And, years later when I moved to Westport, I also was graced with Cathy’s warmth and kindness as Fairfield County neighbor. We shared several joyful lunchtimes together. With great sadness, I send my heart’s condolences to Cathy’s partner, Eric, and to her parents. Victoria Leidner, Wynnewood, Pennsylvania
