Vivian Kral

Vivian Kral, of Fairfield and Bonita Springs, FL, beloved wife of 56 years of Richard F. Kral, passed away peacefully in her Fairfield home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Ernest and Theresa Nespoli she had been a Trumbull and Fairfield resident for most of her life. She was a graduate of Bassick High School and the University of Bridgeport. Vivian was a member of the Patterson Club, the West Bay Club in Estero, FL and an active parishioner of St. Pius X Church and St. Leo's Church in Bonita Springs. She loved to volunteer her time, and was the President of the Women's Auxiliary at St. Vincent's Medical Center, The Fairfield Prep Bellarmine Guild, and played a role in many philanthropic activities too numerous to list. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Vivian's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She delighted in attending all of their sports games and activities, and was her grandchildren's largest fan. In addition to her loving husband Richard, she is survived by three beloved children, Richard F. Kral, Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Greenwich, Kimberly Murphy of Fairfield and Christopher J. Kral and his wife Lisa of Fairfield; ten cherished grandchildren; Nicole, Richard III, Alex, Drew, Carly, Micaela, Shane, Casey Jane, Christopher and Carter; a brother, Louis Nespoli and his wife Lenore of Seymour; a sister, Mary Jo Giordano and her husband Robert of Seymour, and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was recently predeceased by her loving son-in-law, Michael B. Murphy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Prior calling hours have been omitted.
