Michael Kouremetis

Michael Kouremetis, age 30, of Bridgeport, beloved son of Shelly and Emmanuel Kouremetis, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Born in Bridgeport, Michael had been a lifelong area resident. He loved all varieties of music and was a self-taught Bass guitar player. Michael played in many local bands and always looked forward to his shows. He also loved animals of all kinds and would rescue and foster cats and kittens. Above all else, Michael adored his family and was a loyal son, brother and a loving and devoted uncle to his six cherished nieces and nephews. His presence will be sadly missed by his family and wide circle of friends. Survivors in addition to his loving parents include two beloved sisters and a brother: Nitza Gay and her husband Bob of Norwalk, Sylvia Becerril of Bridgeport and John Kouremetis and his wife Jenny of East Haven; six adoring nieces and nephews: Robert Sydney and Jazmyn Gay, Ely-Anna Becerril, Johnny and Mia Kouremetis.
