My heart is heavy for you all and for all of our Beach Family too .
I have soo many fun memories of Gert . I can just see her racing down the beach with her fishing pole in hand …. yelling to all of us that …… the Blues are running !!!!! She would run in the water clothes and all to catch a much coveted blue fish!!!
Gert and my mom( Nini) were good buddies for years and were 2 of the original Beach People who were always sitting out on the beach enjoying everyone and more than ready for an impromptu
    “Throw together dinner” .
Gert will be missed by all of the Beach People but our fun memories of her will stay with us always !!
With love and a sad heart, Janet (Janette)

  5. Dear Meg,
What fond memories I have of Gert, my second Mum. She was such a wonderful, fun lady, and a fabulous Mum, who cared and loved so well. As parents, she was definitely the good cop on that team with Bill, and took the good and the bad in equal measure.!! She loved Australia, particularly the kangaroos. I have taken up golf with a passion and I know she would be happy about that. Thinking of you today and hoping it all goes well. With much love, Chris xx

  6. Dear Megan,

    With sympathy,
    Ivette
