Florence Vermeulen

Florence Vermeulen peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven Sunday, January 22, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Florence and Charles Hatter, born in Brooklyn, NY March 25, 1919 . She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Bill Vermeulen She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who's greatest joy was to spend time with her family. Florence volunteered for many organizations throughout her long life and was active in the Greenfield Hill Congregational Church. She is survived by her children: Pat Cervone and her husband John of Milford, John Vermeulen and his wife Mary of Venice, FL and Jean Martire and her husband Vincent of Milford; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gertrude Staudt of NY and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. We would like to thank all of the loving and compassionate care given to our parents by the staff at Carriage Green, Milford.
