Donna Collier Obituary

Donna Collier of Huntington, formerly of Southport, passed away Friday September 1, 2017 following a courageous battle with diabetes. She attended Roger Ludlowe High School in Fairfield and graduated with the class of 1971. Donna enjoyed spending time in her garden as well as playing computer games and shopping at a variety of stores. She cherished her four cats, Belvedere, Jasmine, Stella and Toes, and her two dogs, Tenille and Snoopy. In addition to her loving husband of 35 years, Douglas Collier, Donna is survived by her son, Shawn Collier, her sister Susan Nestor, and her five nieces and nephews, Shailene Fellows, Jessica Anderson, Dana Desing-Brewster, Kevin Desing, and David Desing. In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask for donations to be sent to DaVita Dialysis Center, 750 Bridgeport Ave., Shelton, CT 06484 and to the American Diabetes Association 362 RXR Plaza, Uniondale, NY 11556. Services for Donna were private.
